    Description

    Vintage SCHAEFER Mid Size Compact FIDDLE BLOCK with Aluminum Cheeks and Delrin Sheaves, sized for 1/2" line.  NON SWIVELING HEAD.
    This is the three sheave design, with two smaller sheaves replacing the large sheave of a traditional fiddle block.  The overall size of the block is reduced and the two smaller sheaves spread the load, reducing friction and chafe.  These are great for multipart mainsheets on a 30-40 foot cruiser or slightly smaller racing boat.
    From the 1980's.
    Compact fiddle blocks with painted aluminum cheeks, stainless straps, delrin sheaves, and NON swivel head.  Safe working load around 2200 pounds.
    8" overall end of head to top of block. 2 3/8" large sheave, 1 7/8" smaller sheaves.
    Light but strong, weighing in at just under 1 pound.
